Model PHR-1ST superficial Rockwell hardness tester for tubing. It is designed with a round anvil to test the hardness of slim and thin tubes of soft metallic materials.

Features

  • Test method follows ASTM E18.
  • For testing slim, thin-walled soft metal pipes. Applicable materials include aluminum, sliver, copper, brass, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc.
  • STRIPE ADAPTER: available for testing thin stripes of above materials
  • SIMPLE AND FAST OPERATION: as simple as a micrometer; as fast as 10 seconds; suitable for total inspection.
  • SMALL INDENTATION: non-destructive to most specimens.
  • CONVERSION Rockwell hardness values of HR15T scale can be converted into Vickers hardness (HV), Brinell hardness (HB) and tensile strength (σb) using conversion tables.
